Donnington - random weather, maybe normal for a Nottingham summer, saw spills, poor gambles, and a first time winner in Dovizioso. A cool circuit which always produces a good contest - so obviously they are not going back there next year...

Just goes to show - gambling is evil...

Lach and I continued with our MotoGP result guessing competition, and for the first time this season I have actually caught him up a bit. The Deutsch GP saw me get 17 to his 8, and the British GP gave me 13 to his 7.

Hamilton was the best on the day by far

The Hungarian GP saw Hamilton get his, McLaren's, and KERS first 2009 victory. Ferrari with Raikkonen climbed onto the 2nd step, and Webber stepped into overall 2nd in the championship with his 4th podium in a row via a solid 3rd. Brawn had a wilderness round, and Massa slept through the event in an induced coma after facebutting a bit of Barrichello's suspension at some speed on saturday. Alonso, off pole position, was punished for losing a wheel by not only retiring, but also being excluded from the next GP... huh?

Still not a great distance between Hamilton and Button!
