Up at 0430, away at 0530 and home by 1330. The last big run for the old truck before we take delivery of the new one. There was obviously no shortage of precipitation during our away.
The local river reached minor flood level for the third time this year as another ten inches fell over the several days prior to our return. Pointless Pippin, the red rat rodent mini dachshund hadn't exactly lost weight at his dog motel either, and the kennels weren't washed out into the Tasman Sea . So all is back to normal. Bought the latest After Forever CD today and am still in a quandary as to the shade of black to wear to the Maiden concert next week. Decisions, decisions.
Just before sunset we were treated with a John Constable sky. Nice.
