The good that men do is oft interred with their bones, but the evil that men do lives on - especially when After Forever do a passable Maiden cover of same. A classic symphonic metal beauty and beast group with a melodic death grunty sound - enjoyable even if they are dutch.

Gordon recovered to get towards the pointy end with a fifth at Daytona, and Hamilton keeps his amazing run of podiums alive at Silverstone. Except for Massa carving his way up from a pit lane start it was another
passing by strategy only F1 race, but exciting nonetheless. The Nascar race had a dozen wrecks at 190mph and about a 1000 passes just in the last 10 of the 400 mile race, and a winning margin of a couple of thousandths - it was fun mainly because Tony Stewart took himself and team mate out on lap three of 160. Mr McEwan showed that he hadn't lost his Harry Potter invisibility cloak afterall, and appeared out of nowhere with an awesome sprint to win in Canterbury - he had been at the back of the peloton just five ks from the finish after a late fall twenty ks out of Canterbury... The man's a turbo unit.

We watched the highlights. We saw Robbie Potter take it out at the last minute. Very impressive but not quite so exciting when your nephew already told you what was gloing to happen. Thems the breaks.
