FOTA has decided to push for KERS to be scrapped - probably just to get back at Mosely. The powerboost system on A1GP cars works well - mainly because it is the same for the whole field. KERS should be either mandatory or not at all, and apparently it is quite expensive - so much for cost cutting as the underlying sport philosophy. It certainly gave Barrichello a headache when attempting to get back through the pack after a one-garage-sided startline clutch problem.
