Backstroke

Stresses. And strains. And fractures and rips and tears. Disections, dispersions and domestic discussion. Life, because reasons.
We've had twelve months of spectacular work administration mismanagement.  How the hell do these people get into positions of responsibility.  That was a rhetorical question, whose existential answer is discernible only through the Zaphod Beeblebrox paradox.  Although a small clue can be found in the desire to sit on a committee.
More importantly, because both Douglas Adams and Terry Pratchett are no longer with us, the world is a darker place.  Dark places need light - let's have a burning.
The incompetency stress fuels have included shocking planning design in our new ED, a blatant unjust local council tax on the street, and uncontrolled cerebral voyaging on the seas of unforgiveness.
The upside.  There is always one of those - one merely has to look in the right direction, usually up.  Tasmania at the winter solstice in a 4WD.  And the discovery (for slow old backstroking me) of the cute open source programmable microprocessor Arduino system.  Just SO cool.  And its IDE used C++, so all's good.  Robotics, here we come.
