but not forgotten

The night was dark. "So what?" I hear you say. Nights are meant to be dark, it's bloody night time. But this isn't just any night. This is tonight. "that's nice dear" I hear you say, but that was just before you heard the chainsaw start. "That bloody neighbour next door" I hear you say - I hear alot of things, just ask me. "What's so facinating about tonight then?" you say. Well, I will tell you. "Get on with it then!" you say. Oh shut up, I say - I'm just about to. "How rude" you say. I stop listening. "Fine, have it your way then" you may have said if I was listening, but I wasn't, so there. Tonight will see the planet Jupiter occultating the lagoon nebula in the constellation of sagittarius. This will annoy the creature of the lagoon who detests being occultated by anything without blood dripping from its nostrels. As Eccles said "oooohhhh, it's good to be alive in 1985". Get over it, you have your revenge. Does it feel good? Is it worth it? Ying tong, ying tong, ying tong, ying tong iddle I po. You should not lock the open door, runaway, runaway.

It only happens when I lie down. late nights don't happen. At least she didn't really get burnt by the spilled porridge. She moved like greased thunderbolts - "I need cold water!" but the breakfast was obviously below the critical temperature for a really memorable meal. The Chillean diablo wine was OK I guess, but I think I'll stick to Ribena. Fine. fine, fine. "What time is it?" "I'll check on my bit of paper, I've got it here somewhere", "Hey, that piece of paper isn't ticking - it must be a forgery". "That watch you are wearing - how many numerals on the dial?" If the answer is Thirteen or Amaryllis then the watch is all yours.
